What is the difference between Single Grain Whisky and Single Malt Whisky? - whisky collectors
If anyone can tell me where I can find a decent bottle of single malt in 1958 to a collector may be between € 100 - € 250, I was just a grain whiskey or a Glen Avon (particularly attractive NT) where the question. :)
Thanks in advance

Please send me an example for everyone and ask for my opinion.
Malta is that has sprouted from cereals. A generally taste much richer.
Simply means that the whiskey do not mix.
To find a born in 1958 will be very difficult and expensive. In general, at the age of whiskey in his change of character. Even though I think I do not expect a harvest of 1958 had the taste to be not very good. Generally deteriates whiskey tastes of a certain age (I think around 25 years.)
Scotch bottled in 1958 (instead of remaining) in a barrel would be almost impossible to find. Note that when the bottle stops aging.
You can create a better bottle of Bordeaux 1958 (see also very expensive and does not guarantee it tastes.)
Hmmmm!
Good whiskey malt whiskey is veryy different grits, if you are a collector of malt whiskey is a grain is not visible as he would receive if he has a bottle of bourbon!
I found Glen Grant for £ 140, but for the harvest that you will pay and the offer will be short. If you have a single-malt whiskey, you may wish to consult for beginners "Buyer's Guide malt whiskey or malt whiskey buyers-guide"
Means that single malt is made only from malted barley from a single distillery. Only grain is used is equivalent to a single type of grain, but could be a mixture of different distilleries.
It also contains things sweet harvest 1958:
